In case you haven’t heard, Eldest Spawn and her long-time partner in crime are going to go ahead and make it official.
The Boy proposed New Year’s 2018 – right after midnight – and they’ve been hemming and hawing about a date since then.
Now, with an impending 800 mile relocation, they decided it was best to tie the knot before they leave the homeland.
Being a fairly decent event planner, it’s ended up being my job – which is fine. It keeps the budget (super thin shoestring) in check and keeps other local wedding planners from having to deal with me as MotB.
Because seriously, friends… let’s face it… nobody wants to deal with me in full-blown, big budget, MotB mode. That’s a horror novel waiting to happen.
Sadly, this may mean I fall behind here. My plan is not to but my planning skills are being used elsewhere.
I promise not to forget you’re here and I won’t forget to write – trust me, I’m going to need the down-time.
Until next time, friends…
Celebrate love in the ways that fit your life.
The ones who love you won’t mind and the ones that do mind don’t matter.
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I wanted to take a minute to just say thank you.
You see… I’ve been on this particular journey for about a decade now and odds are pretty high that, if you’re reading this, you’ve been with me every step of the way. There have been times – though you may not have known it – that I couldn’t have kept going without you.
Dreams of being a famous author are just that… dreams.
Will I keep reaching for them? Sure.
But it’s far more important that you precious few who have been here all along know that your support is far more valuable.
Even when you curse my name.
Even when you grumble about my cruelty.
Even when you stop reading long enough to glare in my general direction no matter where you are.
Still, you keep reading.
You keep asking for more.
And I know I’m doing my job.
Thank you, my friends.
I told you, before, that I did other things in my copious (non-existent) amounts of free time…
I may even have shared a link or two.
The time has come, the walrus said, to talk of many things…
Wait… that’s not it.
I’ve decided that, in an somewhat thought-out attempt to keep myself together, that it was time to bring all my projects together.
To that end, you’ll notice a new tab in the top menu for Seykolova’s Craft Stash.
If you’re looking for fun, quirky, unique gifts… well… if you’re here, you already know kind of how my brain works. Aren’t you at least a little curious?
You may have noticed some things around here that have changed…
The About page has been updated.
The Order page has been cleaned up.
And, perhaps most important, still more new titles are in the works.
Oh… and I’ve gone back to school.
Heroes of Vadim Episode II – Drop Point Disaster is now available!
Just when you thought it was safe to pull out your dicebag…
Lauren and her friends are doing what they love: continuing to live their ultra-geeky lives to the fullest.
The others had managed to put their adventure in Vadim behind them: coming up with every excuse in the book – and making up a few- to convince themselves it didn’t really happen…
Except that it did…
Here we go again.
Rushing headlong into the New Year with me sitting here in front of my computer getting ready to tell you that I really plan to do better this coming year.
It could be worse, I suppose.
I could have so many things not to do that the only thing left would be to write novels and leave long, meaningful messages here for you.
Ah… wouldn’t that be lovely…
Here’s to the new year!
To meeting new friends, reaching new heights, and reading new books.
Stay tuned, my friends…
